FastAid 220x74 FAST Aid 2012 Year in Review and 2013 Exciting FutureMESA, AZ – JANUARY 16, 2012:  Happy New Year from all of us at FAST-Aid!  2012 was a busy year taking care of racers and non-profit business needs.  We are excited for 2013 including the continued success of FAST-Aid and added participation programs that we hope you will join.

During the 2012 calendar year, FAST-Aid assisted 7 different approved applications for individuals who were in financial need due to race related accidents.  Without this assistance these individuals would have had no way to pay medical bills and household expenses during their recovery.

Also in 2012, the Board of Directors of FAST-Aid completed a nearly 3 year application process with the IRS to be a fully approved 501(c)3 organization.

2013 has already started on a high note when FAST-Aid was presented a $3,585 check as part of each 2012 HDRA season membership.  “We were very honored when Roger Norman and the HDRA family approached us with this offer, and were blown away when we saw the check amount!” said Jared Tetzlaff, President of FAST-Aid.

In 2013 we continue to fill our calendars with as many races our small volunteer board can attend.  The board consists of President Jared Tetzlaff, Vice President Lucas Hand, Board Member Trent Beaver, Board Member Kim Carpenter and Board Member Dan “200” Novak.

The first ever charity Golf Tournament is currently being planned for June in the San Diego area.  It is in the very early planning stages, but if you are interested in participating as a team, hole sponsor or other sponsor, please let us know so you can be involved.  We will again support the Dezert People 10 premier events as they support FAST-Aid.

In 2013, we are planning to expand our safety education program by working with race organizers and industry leaders to help improve the safety and professionalism at every level of racing.  We are proud to be part of the process of growing our sport both in size and reputation!

How can you help?  This is about the off-road family.  The more people that are willing to run the FAST-Aid stickers and tell their friends about the organization, the better.  We appreciate your donations, attending our fundraising events and your continued involvement in promoting safety in our sport.

Thank you again to everyone for the support over the last 3 years.  We realize that most of our time in 2012 was spent behind the scenes, but we want everyone to know we are still here to support the racers and are looking forward to great things in 2013.  The whole volunteer Board of Directors certainly can’t continue to support racers without you and hope you will continue to join us on this exciting journey. If you ever have any questions, feel free to contact Jared at jared@fast-aid.org. All donations are tax-deductible athttp://www.fast-aid.org/donations.html.
